Software Developer
Match Score — ruby on rails developer
The candidate has extensive recent and continuous Ruby on Rails experience from 2014 to present across two roles, including API development, ActionCable, RSpec testing with 90% coverage, third-party integrations, and dashboards with React/AngularJS, directly matching the Ruby on Rails developer role. Strong supporting skills like PostgreSQL, Redis, Git, and JavaScript are evidenced in recent work. Achievements include a caching system reducing database load and scaling to millions of users. Minor concerns are a potential employment gap from 2009-2012, part-time availability which may not suit full-time roles, and listing stale PHP skills from 2005-2007 without recent use. Education in Information Security is tangentially relevant. Overall, this is a strong, low-risk fit with current expertise.
